Year Of The Snake is an interdisciplinary work of music, dance, and text. The work explores an experience of the cycles, power, and process of self-transformation. As personal perspective changes, the traumatic shedding of “old skin”, and the acceptance of new forms, provide useful metaphors for compassionately ushering in needed societal progress. Society is us. What are we doing? Making the personal public.
